The basic pattern of basic medical entrance exam in India
- The language of the paper can be either Hindi or English
- The Medical entrance exam can be either one stage entrance exam or two stages. If the exam is just one stage the mains exam is carried out to make the selection process. If two, then first will be treated as preliminary and the next will be treated as mains exam
- The medical paper will have 4 divisions-General knowledge, physics, chemistry and biology
- Paper comprises 200 objective and reasoning questions. Out of these, 60 each of the three science subjects and 20 for GK
