Top ranked universities which are older than 125 years and extremely rich in its educational quality such as University of Zwickau or University of Jena are covered under this scheme.

WHY IS IT FREE TO STUDY IN GERMANY?

The German population is constantly dropping YOY. While the economy is growing, there is a scarcity of skilled work force that can speak in German language and understand their work as well as social culture. This led the Government of Germany to offer special schemes for International students to study in Germany in their own language. Further they extended 3 special rules so that more and more people can participate in this scheme such as:

  • You can work up to 20 hours per week to take care of living costs during University years
  • You would be given 18 months of work search visa after graduation
  • You would be allowed to pursue Masters Program again fully free of cost.

Almost 5,000 students are flying from India every year under this scheme for Bachelor and Master’s program of their choice.

Students having lower academic scores at the 10+2 level for Medical programs generally opt to study Healthcare Management leading to high salaried jobs in Germany. Those students from engineering side who could not make it to IIT, NIT or respected Indian government engineering colleges opt for various types of Engineering programs such as Mechanical, Mechatronics engineering, Power engineering, Robotics Non-conventional energy etc. which are very popular. Apart from these, Bio chemistry, Pharmacy and Bio medical is also a very popular subject at the Master’s level.

GETTING VISA:

It is not an easy task for the students to get the Visa since there are rejections due to very methodical manner in which the whole system works. Lot of documentations need to be done and preparations have to be completed before arranging the Visa interview. Even after the interview, it takes 4-12 weeks to get the Visa stamped on the passport.

It is always better to apply at least 6 months prior to Germany to ensure your arrival at the right time.

LANGUAGE CENTER:

The success of your career to study in Germany and further work there depends a lot on the language center since you need to pass the exam for Pre-University year as well as pass the language test (TestDaf)  before joining Master’s program.

Even to get the student Visa, the quality of teaching in India matters a lot since we teach you at our own center up to A2 level and the interview at the German consulate would properly check you for the same.
